Oh where is our Earl Gray?????

Well we have spent the last few hours looking for Kelly and David’s cat, Earl Gray. The front door had blown open and we felt that he had gotten out. Before we started looking we searched the house up and down and no Earl. We live next door to the LSU arboretum and so we had alot of ground to search where we thought a cat would be. I prayed that God would bring him home so David and Kelly would not worry all night about him and they could get a good nights sleep. Well after it started getting dark and we had looked everywhere I thought I would look alittle more intensly in the house. So I looked in all the nooks and crannies even in the kitchen cabinets. Well when I made it back to my bed room I opened my closet and no Earl. Well even though my husbands closet was closed I decided to look in there. Well guess who I found fast asleep. EARL GRAY. After 2 hours of looking for him he was found ! He had no idea of how worried we all were or how tired we were. But most of all we were thankful to have him with us. And we all will get a good nights sleep. Thank you God!

I love you to sweetie! Nothing is worse than seeing your child hurting. I’m glad we found him too!

who am i?

I’m a wife of 33 1/2 years, mother to three, and a crafter at heart. I grew up next door to my grandparents who were the ultimate crafters and their love was instilled into my way of life. Our children have been a joy to our lives and we are thankful for each of them. Our oldest daughter Kelly has been married to David S. for almost 6 years. They are photograghers and specialize in wedding photography. Stacy is our second child and lives in Lafayette,La. She is also a photogragher and enjoys writing poetry. Our son Brandon lives in Sugar Land, Tx and works as an Electric Engineer at Flour. I quit my job of 9 years in retail to have more time to nourish my soul by doing things I love such as sewing, embroidery, quilting, and of course spending more time with my husband and family. My husband,David, retired last September from working at Exxon refinery where he has worked for the past 33 years. We have had fun adjusting to life as a retired couple. It has been great.
